This is the opening picture of REUNION, a time travel story. Jon is at his grandma's cottage, sitting alone at the end of the dock -- it's no coincidence this looks lot like the dock at my Grandma's cottage. I grew up here in the summer and it was my favorite place.

This is what it is like sitting at the end of the dock.The reflections tell you it's flat calm -- a quiet weekday when nothing is happening.

On weekends it's not like this. Motorboats make waves all day, and the cottage is crowded with family -- lots of cousins to play with.

But sometimes I stayed at the cottage "alone" with my Grandparents, like in the boy the story. And like the boy in the story I got bored; I wanted something exciting to happen...
