ILLUSTRATIONS

Take a look at a sampling of pictures I made for books and magazines. Many of the images are from picture books, where text and pictures work together to build the story. Other pictures were made as a companion to magazine stories. The bird on a phone was the opening page illustration for a short story about an old woman who imagines the world outside is trying to communicate with her.

I've added captions to many of the pictures, to give a little context, or to explain what the images are about. In these illustrations I use a style that I hope supports the feeling and the meaning of the story.
